When our condo in the Villas Talia development in Puerto Aventuras was ready in October 2007, my husband and I quickly planned a trip down to furnish it. I bought a new condo last year in Puerto Aventuras Mexico and had a blank slate to work with. Unfortunately, I had to do most of my furniture ordering online from Kentucky. I visited numerous websites, but they were not user friendly and required the purchase of furniture packages. Gringo's website allowed me to mix and match, according to my taste. The entire process was conducted online or in personal emails and calls with the owners. In this age of computer generated sales and service, it was so nice to talk not only to helpful people, but the owners of the company. By the time I arrived for the closing on my condo (just before Christmas). The bedroom furniture had been delivered and set up through coordination with my property manager. I was so pleasantly surprised to find the quality exceeded my expectations. I loved that the furniture was made in Mexico using hardwood and I could choose my stains that matched each piece perfectly. The pedestal drawer base gave additional storage and, again, exceeded my expectations. Budget was a consideration for me and for the first time in my life I feel I got more than I paid for in their products.
Ken and Adri were truly delightful to work with and their business ethic is unsurpassed. I work in the legal field and too often have heard horror stories of long distance buying experiences, as well as my own disappointments in sales and service in this industry. I never respond to customer service surveys, but this company deserves the accolades.
I have recommended them to various real estate agents for client referrals because I hope everyone can enjoy the great products and excellent service during the stress of purchasing property and having to conduct the decorating and furniture design from afar.
